Nexthrus has unveiled a first-half roadmap for its blockchain project CROSS.

Nexthrus said in a post on its official Medium blog on Thursday that the roadmap focuses on launching new platforms and integrating user experience (UX).

Nexthrus has been accelerating ecosystem expansion since the start of the year. It recently worked with the no-code creation platform Verse8 to introduce the CROSS Forge function. It is running a game-creation contest, Game Jam, with total prizes of 150,000 CROSS through Jan. 14 to expand its creator ecosystem.

It will also soon launch a new payment token, CROSSD. CROSSD is backed by USDT and applies a delta-neutral trading strategy to minimise the risk of market price fluctuations, allowing holders to earn rewards simply by holding it. Nexthrus plans to replace all USDT trading pairs on its DEX with CROSSD.

In the first half, it will move to strengthen user convenience along with building CROSS Hub, an integrated entry point. It will introduce an embedded wallet that allows users to log in like a regular app without complex cryptographic key management, lowering the entry barrier for Web3 games. It also plans to distribute admin tools to support developers in easily handling tasks such as token listings and reward management.

In the second half of the first half, it will open CROSS Arcade to spotlight new games and unify domains so all services can be used with a single wallet connection. The company added that the roadmap timeline can be adjusted flexibly in line with rapidly changing Web3 market conditions.

Nexthrus CEO Hyun-kuk Jang said, "We will build the future at the intersection of blockchain, AI and games." He added, "We will create an environment where onboarding happens within seconds and assets move smoothly on the game chain."
