Nexthrus said on March 13 it signed a strategic partnership with AI-based DevOps solution company Dev Stream Labs at GDC 2026 in San Francisco on March 12 local time.
Dev Stream Labs is an infrastructure company specialising in using AI to automate build, test and deployment pipelines for game and software development teams. It has technology that adds intelligence to complex development processes to reduce errors and dramatically improve release speed.
Under the partnership, the two companies will combine AI-based DevOps automation technology with Nexthrus' blockchain game infrastructure. They plan to support game developers participating in the Cross ecosystem so they can shift to a Web3 environment more easily and quickly, focusing on lowering technical barriers and costs involved in onboarding.
They also plan to discuss in stages the introduction of practical technical support packages, including building an AI-based automated deployment environment, improving the efficiency of on-chain integration testing and optimising global launch pipelines. The aim is to allow game companies to focus their capabilities only on core development.
Nexthrus expects the partnership with Dev Stream Labs to be an important milestone in making the Cross ecosystem more technically robust. The strategy is to use the synergy of AI and blockchain to provide global game companies with the most efficient path into Web3.
