SK Shieldus teams up with Korea Education Information Technology Foundation, Escape Solution to boost university cybersecurity
SK Shieldus said on Monday it signed a three-way memorandum of understanding with the Korea Education Information Technology Foundation and Escape Solution to strengthen cybersecurity at universities nationwide. The three organisations plan to build a close cooperation framework, including sharing security threat information and jointly establishing security policies. SK Shieldus and Escape Solution will provide the foundation’s roughly 360 member universities with updated threat and vulnerability information and pursue product planning and joint promotions to expand security service adoption.

Genians Q1 sales up 25.5 percent to 11.74 billion won, operating profit jumps 47-fold
Genians said first-quarter consolidated sales rose 25.5 percent from a year earlier to 11.74 billion won, while operating profit came to 1.74 billion won, more than 47 times higher. The company said growth was led by its NAC and EDR businesses, along with expansion into cloud NAC and MDR services. It also said it secured meaningful customers for its Genian Home security solution and sees new opportunities in the second half.
