AI drives faster vulnerability patching as AI-native security evolves
As artificial intelligence is rapidly adopted in cybersecurity, security patching practices across the tech industry are changing, with patch releases growing faster and larger than before. Microsoft rolled out its biggest-ever security patch after using AI to detect code vulnerabilities. The United States introduced a new coordination framework called Gold Eagle to speed detection, prioritisation and patching for critical infrastructure. Companies also launched AI-native security platforms, initiatives and services across cloud, operations and vulnerability testing.

SentinelOne, Fargonetworks launch hybrid MDR to counter AI-driven attacks
SentinelOne and MDR specialist Fargonetworks launched an AI-based joint security operations service called Hybrid MDR, combining SentinelOne\'s Wayfinder Threat Hunting with Fargonetworks\' 24/7 MDR operations. The companies said the model integrates threat hunting using Google Threat Intelligence, monitoring by security analysts, and expansion to NDR and CTEM to improve detection and response, including against unknown zero-day attacks. The service will be offered at no extra cost to customers using Singularity Complete through Fargonetworks.

SK Shieldus said on July 13 it was selected by global market research firm Frost & Sullivan for the 2026 Asia-Pacific Customer Value Leadership award. The company was listed this year as an outstanding company in the cybersecurity services category. It said Frost & Sullivan cited SK Shieldus\' AI-based integrated security operations system and customer-focused services as key strengths in its final evaluation report.
