AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud said on Tuesday it has obtained Amazon Web Services' (AWS) AWS Security Competency.

The AWS Security Competency is awarded to partners with specialised technical expertise and consulting capabilities in cloud security.

With the latest AWS Security Competency, MegazoneCloud now holds 11 AWS competencies, including Migration and Modernization, Data and Analytics, Generative AI Services, DevOps and Financial Services. The company stressed it has the most among AWS partners in the Asia Pacific region.

MegazoneCloud's HALO supports security consulting, solution implementation and managed security services, through to Managed Detection and Response (MDR), based on four frameworks: Hyperscale Cloud, AI Security, Life Cycle Security and Zero Trust Security.

Jong-chan Kim (김종찬), a leader in MegazoneCloud's Cloud Strategy Unit, said the latest competency recognises the company's ability to cover customers' full digital transformation, from cloud migration and modernisation to data analytics, adoption of generative AI, DevOps, financial services and security. He said the company will provide global-standard security architecture and consulting for customers based on cooperation with AWS Professional Services, and support them in implementing stable security systems in AI environments.
