Cybersecurity company Genians said on Monday its consolidated first-half revenue in 2026 rose 19.9 percent from a year earlier to 24.92 billion won, while operating profit jumped 294.3 percent to 4.31 billion won.

In the second quarter alone, consolidated operating profit came to 2.57 billion won, up 143.1 percent from a year earlier. Second-quarter revenue was 13.18 billion won, up 15.4 percent.

The company said its core NAC and EDR businesses grew steadily, and revenue stability and profitability also strengthened as it expanded software-as-a-service businesses such as cloud NAC and MDR.

In NAC, an increase in large-scale new and advanced orders from public institutions and large private companies supported results. Revenue from small and medium-sized businesses grew more than twofold, broadening the customer base. In EDR, it secured new deployments and renewals from large companies and the financial sector.

The software-as-a-service business also showed growth. The number of cloud NAC customers rose 26 percent from a year earlier to 299 companies. The number of customers for its MDR service, which targets companies lacking security professionals, more than doubled from a year earlier. The company also stressed that Middle East revenue rose more than 50 percent and its cumulative overseas customers exceeded 200.

Genians has completed development of a "quantum security gateway" that combines the latest post-quantum cryptography technology with a zero-trust architecture to fundamentally block hacking threats in the era of quantum computing, and is preparing to launch it within the year. It plans to accelerate entry into future high value-added quantum security markets such as AI, cloud and autonomous driving through the product.

Lee Dong-beom (이동범), chief executive of Genians, said, "Amid AI cyber threats that are becoming more intelligent and automated, we proved the market's trust with unrivalled technology and tangible financial performance." He added, "We will complete our AI development roadmap without setbacks and focus on securing next-generation new technologies such as quantum security to drive sustained growth in the second half as well, on the front lines of cybersecurity."
