Note app Obsidian gains traction as AI coding knowledge base
A local note app, Obsidian, is spreading quickly among developers as a tool for AI coding support, used to organise requirements and design intent as a knowledge base. Linked notes visualised as graphs help manage context, and connecting a Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets AI automatically reference documents and generate code. A reporter tested it by building a test harness, but noted a learning curve and instability in MCP connections.

AWS launches agentic features in partner collaboration platform AWS Partner Central
Amazon Web Services launched agentic features in its partner collaboration platform, AWS Partner Central, on Thursday. The AWS Partner Central agent runs on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and automates administrative tasks while simplifying opportunity management such as co-selling and funding. AWS said partners have sought faster, more efficient ways to close deals, but fragmented data and siloed expertise have slowed progress. The agent provides sales plays, insights, funding recommendations and next-step guidance, and can connect to existing tools via an MCP server.

Figma expands Codex support with OpenAI partnership
Figma has integrated OpenAI\'s AI coding tool Codex to strengthen collaboration between designers and developers, TechCrunch reported on Feb. 26. Figma said the integration allows users to create and modify designs directly in coding environments and enables smoother movement between design and code via the Figma MCP server. The update comes a week after Figma integrated Anthropic\'s Claude Code. OpenAI said more than 1 million people use Codex weekly.
