LG HelloVision launches genre-focused VOD monthly subscription zone

LG HelloVision launched a genre-focused VOD streaming service called the \"monthly subscription zone\" on its cable TV service Hello tv, it said on Tuesday. The first service is a Chinese drama-only zone created in partnership with AsiaN, an Asia content-focused programming provider. The service is available on Hello tv channel 133 and allows monthly subscribers to automatically play a lineup of Chinese dramas consecutively.

LG HelloVision expands new businesses amid broadcasting slump, rental growth in focus

LG HelloVision, South Korea’s top cable TV operator, is expanding its non-broadcasting businesses as broadcasting revenue continues to fall. Its rental-related product sales rose 52.2 percent over three years to 329.6 billion won in 2025 and accounted for 26 percent of total revenue last year, surpassing broadcasting. The company’s 2025 revenue rose 5.7 percent to 1.27 trillion won, while operating profit climbed 39 percent.

LG HelloVision Hello Life unveils original content \'Jihye Pick\'

LG HelloVision’s YouTube channel Hello Life will release its first original content of the year, \'Jihye Pick\', on April 2. The channel surpassed 1 million subscribers in November and now has 1.03 million. Hosted by broadcaster Kim Ji-hye, the lifestyle series features firsthand product and service trials from a consumer perspective. It is split into two categories covering commerce and medical and beauty information.
