South Korea\'s Broadcasting Media Communications Committee approved the 2024 broadcast assessment results for 371 stations operated by 153 broadcasters at a plenary meeting on July 22. The results will be reflected in broadcaster re-licensing and re-approval reviews. KBS1 recorded the highest score among national terrestrial TV channels, while MBN ranked top among comprehensive programming channel operators. The committee also approved the 2025 assessment basic plan and will disclose detailed results on its website.

LG HelloVision said on Tuesday it published a sustainability management report covering its ESG results for 2025 and the first half of 2026. The company carried out a materiality assessment across seven stakeholder groups and selected five key issues, including information security and customer data protection, customer satisfaction, ethics and compliance management, community engagement and climate change response. The report also highlights AI-related initiatives and states it underwent third-party assurance.
