Korea Post launches \'Faker\' commemorative stamp goods, on sale from Oct. 23

Korea Post will launch a range of merchandise to mark the issuance of a commemorative stamp for professional gamer \'Faker,\' Lee Sang-hyeok (이상혁). Products include commemorative stamp cards, personalised stamps and personalised stamp cards. The metal commemorative stamp card, using two 1,000-won commemorative stamps, will be limited to 507 units. Items go on sale from Oct. 23 at Seoul Central Post Office on weekdays and the Stamp Museum on weekends.

Korea Post to strengthen steps against phishing using fake mail arrival notices

Korea Post will add warning language and introduce anti-forgery features to help prevent phishing crimes using forged mail arrival notices. The Korea Post Office said on Oct. 21 it has implemented preventive measures after a string of reports of forged notices since Oct. 12. Local post offices have been given procedures for handling suspected forgeries, and promotional materials have been distributed to apartment and building management offices.

Hana Bank named South Korea\'s best custodian bank by Euromoney

Hana Bank has been named South Korea\'s best custodian bank in a new custodian bank assessment introduced this year by global finance magazine Euromoney. The bank said it won the South Korea\'s Best Custodian award at Euromoney\'s Markets Awards 2026. Euromoney cited Hana Bank\'s operating experience in the domestic custody market and its expertise serving major public institutions, including four public pension funds and the Korea Post Office. Overseas custody services and digital transformation efforts were also reflected in the evaluation.
