Korea Post parcels accepted at CU convenience stores with pickup and delivery by postal carriers
Customers in South Korea will be able to send Korea Post parcels from nearby CU convenience stores, under a new service starting Sept. 10. The Ministry of Science and ICT’s Postal Service signed an agreement with BGF Retail on Sept. 9 to launch the service. Postal carriers will visit participating CU stores to collect accepted items and deliver them after postal acceptance procedures. The partners also run an app-based home pickup service and provide carrier rest areas at 174 CU directly operated stores.

BamITongwi expands home shopping support nationwide, selects 41 firms
South Korea\'s Broadcasting Media Telecommunications Commission is expanding its Do-yak Market programme, which supports home shopping sales for regional small businesses and small merchants, to a nationwide scope. The commission said it will increase the number of participating home shopping companies and broaden the support area, backing 41 firms this year, up from 21. The programme helps selected firms enter TV and data home shopping channels and will also support online promotion using creators from the fourth quarter.

Post office to give vouchers for returning coffee capsules in mailboxes
Korea Post is teaming up with Nespresso to expand collection of used coffee capsules, offering Post Office Shopping vouchers to customers who return capsules at post offices or eco mailboxes. The campaign runs from Aug. 31 to November and includes QR code verification and Instagram-based entries. Winners will receive 10,000 won or 20,000 won vouchers. Korea Post is also expanding resource circulation collection for other items nationwide.
