AWS launches \'AWS Space Accelerator\' programme with KASA, MegazoneCloud
Amazon Web Services said on Sept. 9 it will launch a four-week \'AWS Space Accelerator: Korea 2026\' programme with the Korea AeroSpace Administration and MegazoneCloud to support South Korean space and satellite startups. AWS will provide cloud and AI technology support, hands-on labs, technical mentoring and business coaching, delivered through AWS Activate. The global programme offers AWS credits and networking opportunities. Company K Partners will provide investment strategy coaching ahead of a Jeju Pitch Day.

South Korea space agency to expand cooperation with France\'s CNES to help domestic space firms enter Europe
South Korea’s space agency plans to expand cooperation with France’s National Centre for Space Studies (CNES) to help domestic space companies enter the European market and global supply chains. The agency said it will visit Paris from Sept. 8 to 10 to sign an implementation arrangement on space industry promotion and attend the International Space Summit as South Korea’s chief representative. The deal follows an agreement signed last October.

Nuri 5th launch one month away as final safety control drill set
South Korea\'s Korea AeroSpace Administration will conduct a comprehensive final inspection drill for launch safety control at the Naro Space Center in Goheung, South Jeolla Province. The drill, involving 12 agencies including government, military, police and local authorities, will test personnel and vehicle control around the center, sea and air traffic restrictions along the launch path, resident evacuations and emergency response systems. Scenarios include drones, unauthorized entries, abnormal launches and incidents such as fire, oil spills and terrorism.
