KT said on Saturday it has formed an Information Protection Advisory Committee to improve its security posture and strengthen pre-emptive, prevention-focused information protection governance. The committee includes experts in policy and systems, technology and security, industry and services, and AI and zero trust. It will review KT\'s information protection strategy and key policies and propose responses to future threats, including AI-based attacks and misuse of generative AI, while also examining compliance with network and global regulations.

Dunamu\'s Web3 and cybersecurity talent program, Upside Academy, is marking its second anniversary and producing security hires at major IT companies, including Samsung Electronics, Dunamu and others, the company said on Wednesday. Since launching in July 2024, it has selected 72 trainees across four cohorts with average competition of 15 to 1. Dunamu said 63 percent of graduates found jobs and the program has expanded a university credit-link system to eight schools.
