AI and data-based recruitment platform JobKorea will hold an anniversary conference, JOBKOREA THE REBOOT, on Jan. 29 at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Seoul, to mark its 30th year since founding.

The conference was arranged to review the role and direction of recruitment platforms in a rapidly changing hiring environment driven by the spread of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, and to share its medium- and long-term vision.

At the event, JobKorea CEO Yoon Hyun-joon will run a keynote session titled "Hiring standards in the AI era, the renewed JobKorea". Yoon is set to introduce the direction hiring sites should take during the AI transition, along with key strategies JobKorea is pursuing.

Yoon, who built key career experience as an IT professional at IT platform companies including Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, became JobKorea’s chief executive in 2022. This year marks his fourth year in the role. Since taking office, he has been pushing an AI and data-based shift at pace and leading JobKorea’s "AI native" strategy.

After the keynote, sessions will continue with various speakers including Shin Soo-jung, CEO of Impact Leaders Academy, and Kim Sung-joon, an adjunct professor at Kookmin University’s College of Business Administration. The venue will also include a space introducing content related to an AI-based recruitment service JobKorea will newly unveil.

Yoon said, "This conference, marking our 30th anniversary, is a place to share the standards by which JobKorea will redefine the hiring experience in the AI era." He added, "Based on the data and trust we have accumulated over the past 30 years, we will move to the next stage of connecting jobs and people more precisely through technology."
