SK Group makes AI video of founding chairmen, shares it on 73rd anniversary

SK Group said on April 14 it has produced an AI video featuring sayings and management episodes of founding chairman Choi Jong-kun (최종건) and former chairman Choi Jong-hyun (최종현) and is sharing it with all employees to mark its 73rd anniversary. The five-minute video begins with the 1953 rebuilding of Sunkyung Textiles after the Korean War and reviews the group’s growth. It is being shown at SK Seorin Building and broadcast internally.

Samsung Electronics to show Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 works, also unveil Lee Kun-hee collection

Samsung Electronics added an \'Art Basel Hong Kong 2026\' collection to its Samsung Art Store, featuring 25 works by 20 artists represented by major galleries participating in the fair. Eight galleries take part in the collection, including Bank and Pearl Lam. Samsung said it will operate a booth at Art Basel Hong Kong as the fair’s official display partner in 2026 and will also introduce Korean artists and the National Museum of Korea’s Lee Kun-hee collection.

LG CNS to hire hundreds of experienced workers in AI and robotics

LG CNS is conducting a recruitment drive for experienced workers in the hundreds in the first half of this year to secure specialists in future core businesses such as AI and robotics, it said on Sunday. The hiring will cover areas including AI, robotics, global finance, consulting, data centres, ERP and smart factories. LG CNS said it is providing an environment where employees can use AI resources freely, including ChatEXAONE and ChatGPT Enterprise.
