[DigitalToday reporter Lee Ho-jung] Daum will provide South Korea team match information, AI search content and participatory events in one place during the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

Daum Corp, which operates the Daum portal, said on Sept. 21 it opened a special page for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, which began on Sept. 19.

The special page offers South Korea team schedules and results, as well as sport-by-sport news, photo galleries and medalist information. It provides live text coverage for the national football and baseball teams. It also offers videos of key players and a cheering function for the national team.

It also offers a feature that lets users collect and view selected matches. Users can choose matches of interest under the 'MY' menu and see related information in one place. Under 'Past editions', users can check South Korea-China-Japan ranking battles in previous Asian Games. It also runs a cheering space for the national team through the Daum community.

Daum also added AI-powered search content. It provides AI sport information for new events such as virtual taekwondo, and users can check key players' 'AI matchup cards' and viewing points.

It is also holding a user participation event, 'Asian Games Be the Legend', using the national baseball team matches. Users select a player they think will get a hit in a South Korea match and accumulate the number of successes by match.

The event offers 30 million won in prize money. Users can take part on the Daum app from Sept. 21 through the South Korea baseball team's final match.

Daum Chief Executive Lee Kun-soo (이건수) said, "We focused on building the special page so users can get news about South Korea's matches as quickly and conveniently as possible." He added, "We hope they can enjoy the Asian Games more deeply through AI search content and participatory services."
