LG CNS will conduct a recruitment drive for experienced workers in the hundreds in the first half of this year to secure specialists in future core businesses such as AI and robotics, it said on Sunday.

The hiring will span its major businesses, including AI, robotics, global finance, consulting, data centres, ERP and smart factories. LG CNS plans to hire practical talent that can apply the latest technology to industrial sites to drive business innovation.

The AI role, a key hiring area, will be responsible for designing and implementing AI models and services optimised for customers' businesses. LG CNS AX talent can build industry-specific AI capabilities by developing agentic AI specialised for areas including finance, the public sector, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals and biotech.

In the public sector, LG CNS tested what it called the country's first agentic AI-based digital currency automatic payment system with the Bank of Korea, and is carrying out large projects including an intelligent AI data platform for the foreign ministry.
