Samsung Electronics has unveiled an 'Art Basel Hong Kong 2026' collection on Samsung Art Store. It unveiled the collection on March 24, comprising 25 works by 20 artists from major galleries participating in Art Basel Hong Kong 2026. Samsung Electronics has partnered with Art Basel for 6 years and has showcased works exhibited in Hong Kong, Basel, Paris and Miami Beach through Samsung Art Store.

Eight galleries are participating in the collection, including Bank, CLC Gallery Venture, Lin & Lin, Pearl Lam, Rossi & Rossi, Tomio Koyama, Vacancy and Don Gallery.

Key works include "Europa" (2016) by German artist Michael Najjar (마이클 나자르) and "Ken" (2023) by Chinese artist Sun Yitian (쑨이티엔), who collaborated on the Louis Vuitton 2024 pre-fall collection. Works by Hong Kong contemporary artist Ha Bik Chuen (하빅춘) are also included, including "Wheatfield A" (1994) and "Untitled" (1995).

Samsung Art Store is a Samsung TV-exclusive art subscription service available in more than 117 countries. It holds more than 5,000 works by more than 800 artists, including from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Musee d'Orsay. It is expanding the lineup it supports to include The Frame Pro, The Frame, Micro RGB, Neo QLED and OLED.

Samsung Electronics set up an exhibition booth at Art Basel Hong Kong as Art Basel’s official display partner for 2026. It is run under the theme, "Crossing Time, Crossing Space into Art Basel Hong Kong". The booth showcases works from the collection through new 2026 TV models including The Frame Pro, Micro RGB and OLED.

In addition to the Art Basel Hong Kong collection, the booth also introduces works by Korean artists including Youn Hee and Youn Jong-sook, as well as the Lee Kun-hee collection from the National Museum of Korea that was unveiled on Samsung Art Store in December last year. Separately from its own booth, Samsung Electronics will install 3 The Frame TVs in Art Basel’s digital art exhibition zone, 'Zero 10', to present a digital art experience.

Art Basel Hong Kong Director Angelle Siyang-le (엔젤 쓰양-러) said Art Basel Hong Kong has always sought ways to expand how people experience art. She said the partnership with Samsung will provide more people with the opportunity to live with great works every day.

Koh Bong-jun (고봉준), vice president of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, said the collection, presented based on 6 years of cooperation with Art Basel, shows the high level of art content offered by Samsung Art Store. He said Samsung Electronics’ advanced display technology vividly rendered everything from works shown at global art fairs to Korea’s cultural heritage.
