Krafton\'s Neon Giant to launch \'The Ascent\' Switch 2 version on Dec. 3
Krafton\'s creative studio Neon Giant will release the action shooter RPG \'The Ascent\' for Nintendo Switch 2 on Dec. 3. The Switch 2 version will be sold as a digital-only Ultimate Edition on the Nintendo eShop and will include the base game and three existing downloadable content packs. The game will cost $29.99, support 10 languages including Korean, and offer a 10 percent pre-order discount starting Oct. 6.

OpenAI prepares inference residency in South Korea, in talks with local partners to secure GPUs
OpenAI is preparing to introduce “inference residency” in South Korea so Korean users’ AI inference computing is handled at domestic data centres. OpenAI Korea chief Kim Kyung-hoon said the company is discussing securing GPUs and cloud infrastructure with several local partners and expects to offer the service in the near term. OpenAI already supports data residency in Korea, but some data can move overseas during inference.

Krafton chairman Jang Byung-gyu meets India\'s Modi in New Delhi
Krafton Chairman Jang Byung-gyu (장병규) met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Sept. 4 local time to discuss cooperation in games and new technologies. The sides reviewed growth in India’s games, technology and digital entertainment industries and cooperation opportunities. They also discussed ways to support overseas expansion of India-made games and digital content. Krafton said it has invested about $250 million in India and plans additional investment.
