G-Star 2026, to be held in Busan in November, has finalised six large booth zones in BEXCO’s first exhibition hall. It will expand exhibits in the second exhibition hall, focusing on global game companies and indie games.
The G-Star Organising Committee on Monday released floor plans for BEXCO’s first and second exhibition halls and core content for G-Star 2026, including major titles, e-sports tournaments, conferences and online programmes.
All six large spaces of more than 100 booths each, the maximum installable given the hall’s structure, have been filled in the first exhibition hall. Main sponsor Krafton will attend with a large booth along with HoYoverse, Google Play, Webzen and Team42.
A “G-Star Global Game Showcase” will be set up for the first time this year on the first floor of the second exhibition hall. Koei Tecmo Games will present “Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember,” “Atelier of Karia: The Kingdom of Night and the Signposts of Memories,” and “Nioh 3.”
Sega will unveil “Total War: Warhammer 40,000” in South Korea for the first time and offer demos of “Crazy Taxi: World Tour” and “Football Manager 27.” NetEase Games will show “Once Human” and “Yeonun,” while CD Projekt Red will run experiential content related to “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” and “Cyberpunk 2077.”
The indie game exhibition will also expand. “G-Star Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy” will be set up with a total of 250 booths, with 106 developers from South Korea and abroad taking part. The exhibition will consist of the G-Star Selected Indie demo zone, a publisher demo zone, studio demos and a title exhibition, and a Unity indie demo zone.
Devolver Digital and Unity, along with Steam Deck, Discord, the European Game Developers Federation and the Embassy of Poland in Seoul will take part in the indie exhibition. The Unity indie demo zone will also host a “Unity AI Game Jam” using AI technology and an “Indie Relay Talk” for sharing developer experiences.
The business-to-business, or BTB, exhibition hall will be reorganised from its existing booth-centred structure to strengthen networking functions. Amazon Ads and Twitch will take part in the network lounge, and a network party will also be run with Microsoft. A new “G-Star Investment Connect” programme to support investment fundraising will also be launched.
Game conference G-CON 2026 will add director Shoji Kawamori (카와모리 쇼지), Nexon Games IO Division head Yong-ha Kim (김용하) and the development team behind “Crimson Desert” as additional speakers. Kawamori and Kim plan to hold a dialogue on creating and expanding intellectual property that is loved over a long period.
A large e-sports tournament will be held at the BEXCO auditorium for the first time in three years. Blizzard Entertainment’s “Overwatch Champions Series Asia Stage 3 Grand Final 2026” will run from Nov. 20 to Nov. 22, with teams that advanced through qualifiers in South Korea, Japan and the Pacific region taking part.
Online programmes will also expand. A G-Star special promotion page in cooperation with Steam will feature major exhibited titles and discount events, and an online showcase, “G-Star Premiere,” will be held on Nov. 18, the day before the event opens.
The G-Star 2026 BTC exhibition will run from Nov. 19 to Nov. 22, and the BTB exhibition will run from Nov. 19 to Nov. 21 at BEXCO in Busan.
