Krafton will select more than 100 entry-level hires across all job categories with capabilities in using AI. It is the largest intake in the company’s history for open recruitment of new graduates.

Krafton said on Oct. 13 it will accept applications for its "2027 Krafton internship-linked recruitment" until Oct. 23.

The six job tracks are AI research, tech, support, business, game development (programming) and game development (planning). Graduates and expected graduates from universities in South Korea and overseas can apply.

The recruitment was set up to secure company-wide entry-level talent that Krafton defines as "AI native". The company has been expanding its talent strategy toward combining the expertise of its existing organisation with AI-use capabilities since it declared a shift to an "AI First" company in the second half of last year.

The process will evaluate AI-use capabilities, general thinking ability and global capability. It also views potential to quickly learn new work and solve problems using AI as a key evaluation factor.

The screening will proceed in the order of document screening, aptitude test, AI capability assessment and interviews. The AI capability assessment will use Krafton’s in-house AI-native hiring and evaluation solution, "Kopa Probe".

After applications close, the company will conduct tests and interviews in November and December and announce final successful candidates in January 2027. Successful candidates will join in February that year and work in the field for five months, and a decision on conversion to regular employment in July will be made based on evaluation results.

Krafton plans to make AI-native open recruitment for entry-level hires an annual regular programme starting with this hiring round. It plans to continue securing and developing related talent in line with expanding new AI-based businesses.

Han So-young (한소영), head of Krafton’s HR division, said the need for talent to lead the effort together has also grown as the company expands new AI-based businesses. She said the company will create new business opportunities by combining the capabilities of AI-native juniors with the expertise of its existing organisation.

Krafton was selected in September for the "2026 South Korea Best Job Creation Company" programme hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. It was the fifth time overall.
