Neopulse forms investor consortium with Kings Net to acquire Wemade in October

Neopulse, which is pursuing the acquisition of Wemade, has formed an investor consortium with Chinese game company Kings Net and others. Neopulse plans to complete procedures to buy Wemade Chairman Park Kwan-ho\'s stake by Oct. 30 and become the largest shareholder. Wemade and Neopulse said the consortium signed a share purchase agreement on June 30 and is proceeding with steps including final payment and regulatory approval.

Castle launches service to automatically buy bitcoin with Strategy STRC preferred stock dividends

U.S. bitcoin management service provider Castle has introduced a function that automatically converts dividends from Strategy\'s STRC preferred shares into bitcoin. Users can receive dividends in cash, convert all of them into bitcoin, or split them at a chosen ratio. Strategy still pays STRC dividends in cash, and Castle executes bitcoin purchases based on user settings. Strategy said the annual dividend rate applied after September 2026 is 12 percent, reviewed monthly.

Kakao holds first public innovation awards, selects 30 best-practice cases

Kakao selected 30 public innovation cases that used its services such as KakaoTalk and Kakao Map to improve administrative efficiency and public convenience. The company held the inaugural 2026 Kakao Public Innovation Awards on Sept. 8 in Seoul, with about 140 attendees from 30 organisations and Kakao. Winners were chosen after external expert reviews based on criteria including innovation, performance and sustainability. Kakao will provide 300 million won worth of ad coupons and run AI training for the public sector.
