Ink adopts OP Enterprise, outsources layer2 infrastructure operations

Kraken-led Ethereum layer2 Ink will adopt Optimism’s fully managed OP Enterprise service under a multi-year contract. Under the deal, Optimism will directly operate Ink’s production infrastructure, while the Ink Foundation focuses on ecosystem growth and developing new financial products. Optimism said the agreement is among the first cases of a major layer2 outsourcing infrastructure operations to a managed service provider.

Aave founder denies report of Kraken talks to buy Aave stake

Aave founder Stani Kulechov denied a report that Kraken parent Payward is negotiating to acquire a 15 percent stake in Aave for $385 million, The Block reported on June 26. Kulechov said on X that he would not sell Aave at a 70 percent discount. He did not rule out a sale of some AAVE tokens held by Aave Labs and said discussions had taken place with market participants about direct or indirect purchases and deeper long-term partnerships.

A 13.3-inch PC monitor using an e-ink display, Modos Flow, is drawing attention after reaching 274 percent of its crowdfunding goal and raising about $480,000. The product aims to extend e-ink technology into a PC secondary display for reading and document work. Modos says it supports up to 60 fps and 300 ppi through partial refresh. Two models are offered, monochrome and color, with pricing starting at $619.
