Hitachi Vantara unveils Hitachi iQ Studio to speed adoption of agentic AI
HS Hyosung Information System, an AI and data infrastructure solutions company, said on April 13 that Hitachi Vantara unveiled new AI software called Hitachi iQ Studio. The company said the integrated platform helps enterprises design, deploy and operate AI agents and applications. It aims to simplify and speed processes from agentic AI development to operations, using a no-code and low-code agent builder.

Tem raises $75 million to expand AI-based electricity trading platform
AI-based electricity trading platform Tem has raised $75 million in a Series B funding round, TechCrunch reported on Monday. Lightspeed Venture Partners, AlbionVC, Atomico and Hitachi Ventures participated. Tem operates a marketplace that connects electricity producers and consumers. It focuses on lowering electricity bills by reducing brokerage costs through its AI-based trading engine, Rosso, Chief Executive Joe McDonald said.
