As investment in AI infrastructure accelerates, companies specialising in on-premises hardware are posting strong growth alongside cloud expansion. Hardware makers spanning semiconductors, servers, storage and networking are reporting improved results as AI demand rises. Dell Technologies highlights a strategy centred on upgraded on-premises AI infrastructure and solutions optimised for the tokenomics era. Enterprises are also looking at PCs for local inference while major AI and software players expand offerings, partnerships, acquisitions and investments.

The Korea Generative AI Foundation (KGAF) said it held a policy forum in Seongnam to discuss AI transformation visions for Gyeonggi province and the city. Attendees included gubernatorial candidate Chu Mi-ae and Seongnam mayoral candidate Kim Byung-wook, along with lawmakers and AI experts. Chu highlighted semiconductors as core infrastructure and said AX can expand across industries. Kim urged data standardisation and model development for public administration.
