Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation selects 1,200 multicultural scholars, provides 2.3 billion won
Woori Financial Group’s Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation will select 1,200 multicultural scholarship students in 2026 and provide scholarships totaling 2.3 billion won, it said on March 26. Applications will be accepted through April 17 via its website, with final recipients to be announced in June after document screening. The program supports children of multicultural families with career exploration, learning consulting and networking, and includes scholarship-use management linked with Good Neighbors.

Daiso to launch 10-pack 1,000 won sanitary pads in May, testing ultra-low price push
Daiso is preparing to launch a 10-pack of 1,000 won sanitary pads in May in collaboration with household goods maker Kkekkeunhanara. The per-pad price would be about 100 won, up to about 60 percent lower than sanitary pads currently sold at Daiso online and offline. Daiso said the plan is intended to help stabilise prices and support the household economy. Kkekkeunhanara will supply the product with 100 percent domestic production.

NH Nonghyup Bank practices sharing through NH points donations
NH Nonghyup Bank said on Wednesday it delivered 37,132,958 won worth of NH points donated by NH Members customers last year to charities. The funds came from customers who voluntarily donated points via the NH Members app. The donations were delivered to five groups, including Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation and Good Neighbors, and are to be used for protecting vulnerable children at home and abroad and for cooperation projects linked to agriculture and rural areas.
