NH Nonghyup Bank said on Wednesday it delivered a total of 37,132,958 won worth of NH points donated by NH Members customers over the past year to charities.
The donations were funded with NH points that customers voluntarily contributed through the NH Members app last year.
The donations were delivered to five charities: Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, Korea Leukemia Children Foundation, Good Neighbors, Save the Children and the National Movement Headquarters for Urban-Rural Coexistence. The funds are to be used for protecting vulnerable children at home and abroad and for cooperation projects for shared growth between agriculture and rural areas.
A bank official said, "We hope sharing created together with customers through NH points will become practical support for those in need." The official added, "We will continue to expand a sustainable sharing ecosystem as an ESG-leading bank that fulfills social responsibility beyond finance."
