Samsung SDS wins Seoul National University next-generation network platform project

Samsung SDS said on Sunday it had won Seoul National University’s project to transition to a next-generation network platform for building an intelligent campus. The project focuses on building high-performance network infrastructure needed for AI research and education and laying the groundwork to turn the university into an AI-native campus. The university plans to improve wired and wireless network quality across 243 buildings used by about 50,000 people and shift to an 800 Gbps-class network environment.

KT introduces internet discount programme for foreign residents in South Korea

KT is launching an internet discount programme for foreign customers staying in South Korea. The programme runs until Jan. 31, 2027, and offers monthly fee reductions for foreign customers who stay for about a year or less and sign up for internet services. It covers six products, including internet plans with speeds of up to 100 Mbps, 500 Mbps and 1 Gbps, with and without WiFi. Customers can sign up via all channels, including customer centres and KT agencies nationwide.
