Fujifilm unveils two new QuickSnap models for 40th anniversary
Fujifilm has unveiled two new disposable film cameras to mark the 40th anniversary of its QuickSnap line. The company plans to launch the QuickSnap Black & White and the QuickSnap Active this autumn. The black-and-white model uses ISO400 film, shoots up to 27 frames and includes a built-in flash with an effective range of about 3 metres. The Active model uses ISO800 colour film, is waterproof to about 10.7 metres and comes with protective housing and a wrist strap.

Korea Fujifilm BI appoints Shigeta Kotake as new president and CEO
Korea Fujifilm Business Innovation said it appointed Shigeta Kotake (小竹 茂太) as its new president and CEO, effective July 1. Kotake has worked at Dentsu Soken and global consulting firm BearingPoint, carrying out projects in IT, new business strategy and supply chain management. After joining Fujifilm BI in 2007, he handled manufacturing sales and marketing, solution development and business consulting, and led strategy and M&A in New Zealand and Australia.

Korea Fujifilm BI launches Revoria Press PC2120 colour digital press with AI features
Korea Fujifilm Business Innovation said on May 11 it has launched the Revoria Press PC2120, a colour digital press with enhanced functions based on proprietary AI technology. The company said it supports 120 A4 pages per minute and 2,400 by 2,400 dpi resolution. It also includes an AI-based prepress tool to simplify paper setup and an AI print server that recommends image-quality settings and can optimise photo skin tone, brightness and saturation.
