Korea Fujifilm Business Innovation (Korea Fujifilm BI) said it appointed Shigeta Kotake (小竹 茂太) as its new president and CEO, effective July 1.
Kotake worked at Dentsu Soken and global consulting firm BearingPoint, carrying out various innovation projects including IT, new business strategy and supply chain management (SCM). After joining Fujifilm BI in 2007, he was responsible for manufacturing sales and marketing, solution development and business consulting. He also built more than 7 years of global management experience by leading business strategy and mergers and acquisitions at the New Zealand branch and at Fujifilm Data Management Solutions in Australia.
Korea Fujifilm BI said it expects Kotake to accelerate the company’s growth into a digital transformation (DX) and AI transformation (AX) solutions company spanning cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), security and business consulting, based on his experience in IT, consulting, sales and marketing.
Kotake said, "Based on global on-the-ground experience and customer-focused know-how, I will support customers’ work innovation and DX and AX transitions and become a trusted business partner."
