Korea Fujifilm BI launches Revoria Press PC2120 colour digital press with AI features

Korea Fujifilm Business Innovation said on May 11 it has launched the Revoria Press PC2120, a colour digital press with enhanced functions based on its proprietary AI technology.

The company said the Revoria Press PC2120 supports high-speed output of 120 A4 pages per minute and a high resolution of 2,400 by 2,400 dpi.

The AI-based prepress function, Substrate Profiler, simplifies paper setup workflows that were complex and time-consuming. By placing paper on the machine and pressing the measurement button, AI automatically analyses paper characteristics and applies optimal settings. It can cut the setup process by up to 80 percent compared with existing methods, boosting productivity at print sites where demand for small-lot, multi-item printing is increasing.

It is equipped with the AI-based print server Revoria Flow PC31 to support stable output of high-quality results regardless of operator skill. The company explained that AI analyses the input document and automatically recommends appropriate image-quality improvement settings. For photos, it can automatically recognise images and optimise skin tone, brightness and saturation without separate editing.

Jun Hatogai (하토가이 준), head of Korea Fujifilm BI, said the Revoria Press PC2120 presents a new standard by surpassing the limits of existing digital presses in production efficiency and colour expression. He said the company will continue to lead the digital transformation of commercial printing based on differentiated competitiveness and become a partner for customers' business growth and the realisation of customer happiness experience, or CHX.
