What is the referee cam used at the 2026 World Cup?
The 2026 FIFA World Cup opened on Thursday with referee body cameras deployed for the first time across all 104 matches. The headset-mounted “Referee Body Camera” provides live or replay footage from the referee’s viewpoint. FIFA’s technology partner Lenovo applied AI-based real-time stabilisation to cut motion blur by up to 50 percent and installed servers at the Dallas International Broadcast Centre. FIFA said the footage is not included in the standard feed for media partners.

Razer CEO says AI IPO supercycle is just beginning
Min-Liang Tan, co-founder and CEO of Singapore gaming hardware company Razer, said a surge of AI company IPOs is only at an early stage. He said more waves of new listings are likely beyond OpenAI, Anthropic and SpaceX. SpaceX is set for an IPO on June 12 and is targeting a valuation of about $1.77 trillion. Razer delisted in 2022 to focus on long-term AI investment.

XRP spot ETF draws $1.43 billion in bear market, contrasting with bitcoin and ethereum
XRP spot exchange-traded funds have continued to draw money even as prices fall, showing a steadier pattern than bitcoin and ethereum spot ETFs. Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart said XRP and Solana spot ETFs held up better than expected despite launching in late October 2025 as the crypto market turned down. Data showed $1.19 million of net inflows in a day and cumulative net inflows of about $1.43 billion since November 2025.
