Skild AI surpasses $100 million ARR 10 months after deploying robot foundation model
Robotics AI startup Skild AI has surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue 10 months after commercially deploying a foundation model for robots. CEO Deepak Pathak shared the update on social media platform X and outlined the company’s approach. Skild AI says it has secured more than 60 paid customers across fields including logistics, delivery and operations. Pathak stressed that real-world deployment, iteration and speed matter more than demos.

Musk says Cybertruck mass production is thousands of times harder than building a prototype
Tesla CEO Elon Musk identified the manufacturing line as the biggest obstacle in ramping up mass production of the Cybertruck, saying mass production is far harder than building a prototype. Speaking on the Joe Rogan podcast, he said a production line is inherently thousands of times more difficult than prototyping. Musk’s remarks came as Tesla moved from the prototype stage to delivering vehicles to customers, highlighting tighter tolerances, supply-chain needs and cost considerations.

SKT launches AI for Everyone consortium to link AI services across eight sectors
SK Telecom will step up development of “AI for Everyone” by working with specialist companies and institutions across eight sectors including finance, education, healthcare, small businesses and mobility. The company said it held the consortium’s launch event on Sept. 9 at its T Tower in central Seoul. The project aims to build an end-to-end execution agent that analyses user requests and situations, connects suitable AI models and specialist services, and carries out follow-up work.
