Samsung Electronics sets up RX office under CEO to drive robot business

Samsung Electronics has formalised robots as a next-generation core business and set up a dedicated organisation. The company said it will establish the RX (Robotics eXperience) Business Promotion Office under the CEO to integrate companywide robotics capabilities and drive work from mid- to long-term strategy and core technology development to commercialisation. It will use its Seoul R&D Campus as a main base, build a data factory in Gumi, and set up global research bases in the United States, China and Japan.

Nvidia has forged a cooperation framework in Japan spanning national AI infrastructure, robotics and automobiles, linking the government and key manufacturers. CEO Jensen Huang visited Tokyo to confirm multiple projects connected to Japan’s physical AI strategy, including support for the state-backed AI developer Noetra. Nvidia plans to build a Vera Rubin AI Factory by 2028. Naver top executives to visit Brookfield headquarters amid talk of AI factory investment

Naver founder and board chairman Lee Hae-jin (이해진), CEO Choi Soo-yeon (최수연) and CFO Kim Hee-cheol (김희철) will visit Brookfield’s headquarters in Toronto early this week, industry sources said. The trip is seen as aimed at investment talks to secure data centres, power and other infrastructure needed to build an AI factory. The investment is talked about as at least 1 trillion won, while Naver said it had nothing to confirm.
