KakaoTalk to hold \'KaTalk Cheering Event\' timed to South Korea national team matches

Kakao will open an online cheering space on KakaoTalk timed to South Korea national team soccer matches, supporting real-time communication among users. Kakao said on June 11 it will run the participatory campaign, called the \'KaTalk Cheering Event\', in the app’s \'Now\' tab. The campaign will run in three rounds, in partnership with Nexon’s online soccer game FC Online, with dedicated chat rooms and quiz events offering prizes.

Naver to live-stream all 2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup matches on Chzzk

Naver will live-stream all matches of the 2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup on its streaming platform Chzzk from June 12 to July 20, it said on Wednesday. The service will offer co-watching broadcasts linked to creator channels and provide AI short-form clips during live matches. It also plans to upload player and match VOD highlights and offer AI briefings based on official FIFA data.

Nexon, Naver to launch FC Online-Chzzk linked content

Nexon and Naver will introduce a platform-linked service that lets users switch between watching broadcasts and playing games on a single screen. Nexon said it will roll out linked content between its online soccer game EA Sports FC Online and Naver’s streaming platform Chzzk. From June 12, desktop viewers of certain Chzzk categories can access three FC Online mini-games and receive coupon codes via Naver Pay storage upon completion.
