Kim SeokjinLAB launches plant-based DHA drops for growing children

Kim SeokjinLAB is launching an oil-based omega-3 product for growing children as concerns rise over insufficient DHA intake among infants and toddlers. The company said it will begin selling “Our Child DHA Smart Drops” from Aug. 5 on Dr. Simone Mall and Naver Smart Store. The product uses plant-based DHA in triglyceride form and includes Korean perilla oil. A cited study found 91.8 percent of 12 to 24-month-olds fell short of recommended DHA intake.

Kakaoimpact to build AI citizenship education framework for teenagers

Kakao Impact Foundation said on Tuesday it has launched an expert consultative body, the Saijoun AI Network, to build an education framework for future generations in the age of artificial intelligence. The group will expand the foundation\'s youth digital citizenship programme into the AI field and develop a new AI citizenship education model and curriculum. It plans to run pilots later this year and expand nationwide from 2027.

KB Kookmin Bank to hold finance AI competition for university students

KB Kookmin Bank will hold a competition for university and graduate students to discover finance artificial intelligence ideas. The bank said on Thursday it will host the eighth Future Finance AI Challenge. The event, held since 2019, aims to find future finance ideas using AI and foster talent in financial AI. The competition is sponsored by the Financial Supervisory Service and Ewha Womans University, with prize money of about 28 million won.
