KB Kookmin Bank will hold a competition for university and graduate students to discover finance artificial intelligence (AI) ideas.
KB Kookmin Bank said on Thursday it will host the eighth Future Finance AI Challenge.
The Future Finance AI Challenge is a competition that has been held since 2019 to discover future finance ideas using AI and foster talent in financial AI.
This year’s competition is sponsored by the Financial Supervisory Service and Ewha Womans University. It will be held under the theme of implementing financial services using AI technology. A total of 5 teams will be selected: 1 grand prize winner, 2 excellence award winners and 2 merit award winners. Total prize money is about 28 million won.
The company expects innovative ideas to be proposed in line with the spread of generative AI and AI agent technology across the financial industry.
Winning teams will also be exempt from the document screening and written test stages when applying for jobs in KB Kookmin Bank’s ICT division.
