Hana Bank to sell retail treasury bonds through DC and IRP accounts, launches 10- and 20-year tenors
Hana Bank will begin selling retail treasury bonds that customers can invest in through defined contribution (DC) and individual retirement pension (IRP) accounts. The bank said on Sept. 9 it launched a retirement pension-only retail treasury bond product. Investors can buy 10- and 20-year bonds in 100,000 won units through Hana Bank DC and IRP accounts. Interest is compounded annually and taxation on interest is deferred until withdrawals.

Shinhan Bank to sell retail government bonds via DC and IRP, subscriptions start Sept. 9
Shinhan Bank will begin selling retail government bonds through defined contribution (DC) and individual retirement pension (IRP) accounts. The bank said it will offer 10-year and 20-year bonds to retirement pension customers from Sept. 9. Customers can subscribe using existing retirement pension accounts via Shinhan Super SOL or branches. The first subscription period runs Sept. 9 to 15. The minimum subscription is 100,000 won in 100,000-won increments.
