Yeom Dong-hoon (염동훈), chief executive of MegazoneCloud, said enterprise AI adoption requires both an enterprise trust layer and change management. Speaking at the ICON2026 conference, he said firms must build a reliable environment and manage how employees use AI at work. He cited McKinsey data showing only 7 percent of companies create large value from AI. He also warned many employees use unapproved AI services, raising leakage risks.

ASML has chosen French open-source AI startup Mistral AI as a partner, joining early users of its enterprise custom AI platform Forge. The move reflects demand in chip fabs for AI trained on internal standards, manuals and yield data, and concern about hallucinations and data leaks. Samsung Electronics banned ChatGPT in 2023 and later adopted its own generative AI. Deloitte said 34 percent of firms are redesigning core processes with AI.
