Switch 2 edges Steam Deck on docked performance as OLED screen lifts Valve device
Nintendo\'s Switch 2 delivers graphics performance similar to Valve\'s Steam Deck in handheld mode but pulls ahead when docked, a comparison found. Switch 2\'s GPU rises to up to 3.7 TFLOPS when docked and supports features such as DLSS and some 4K output. Steam Deck does not gain performance when docked but has a stronger OLED display and relatively higher CPU clocks. Switch 2 costs $499, while Steam Deck models sell for $789 and $949.

A resurfaced post from a bitcoin forum dated Sept. 7, 2010, shows early miners questioned whether earning 50 bitcoin per block was worth the electricity used. A user calculated a home computer drew about 140 watts and would take about 14 days to mine a block, consuming about 47.3 kWh, or $5.68 at 12 cents per kWh. The thread also discussed GPU mining, performance gains and rising network difficulty.
