TTA grants first AI trust certification to Gyeonggi Province government\'s AI governance system

The Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) said on Thursday it granted AI trust certification (CAT) to the artificial intelligence governance system built by the Gyeonggi Provincial Government. It said the certification is the first in South Korea under its CAT scheme in the AI governance category. TTA applied ISO/IEC 38507:2022, an international standard on organisational AI adoption and use, as its review criteria.

TTA awards first AI reliability certification for Gyeonggi provincial government\'s AI governance

The Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) said on Thursday it awarded an AI reliability certification (CAT) to the AI governance system built by the Gyeonggi provincial government. It said the certification was the first in South Korea under the AI governance category of its CAT programme and used ISO/IEC 38507:2022 as the assessment standard. TTA said it evaluated five core areas including decision-making, data use, organisational culture and values, regulatory compliance and risk management.

Smilegate opens 60-acre cat theme park \'Dolkoriforest\' in Jeju

Smilegate has opened a large hands-on cat-themed park, Dolkoriforest, on an idle site that once housed the former \"Soinguk Theme Park\" in Jeju Island, the company said on Wednesday. The lifestyle content park spans about 60 acres and includes an indoor exhibition hall, an outdoor garden, attractions and food and beverage facilities. Smilegate said it plans to continue adding outdoor sculptures and cat characters.
