Neptune is supplying 18 games to OneStore's new H5 (HTML5) game platform as it moves to expand its distribution channels.
Neptune said on Sept. 14 it joined OneStore's H5 platform OnePlay as a partner and launched 18 of its games.
The games supplied this time include an H5-only series using the Infinite Stairs intellectual property. It includes six titles: Infinite Stairs, Infinite Farm, Infinite Ranch, Infinite Shooting, Infinite Arrow and Infinite Cliff, as well as 12 casual games.
Neptune said it built the lineup to target demand among OnePlay users for casual games that can be enjoyed without the burden of separate installation.
It is also preparing additional titles. The company plans to roll out its casual games, including Cat Office and Dddrill, in H5 form within this year. It plans to apply an in-app payment (IAP) system to some games and release them sequentially.
The partnership also adds another distribution route for Neptune's H5 games. Neptune has previously supplied H5 games to Toss and KakaoTalk, as well as overseas platforms CrazyGames and Yandex Games.
Kwon Seung-hyun (권승현), head of Neptune's game business division, said, "We will expand game exposure within OneStore and secure new distribution channels to broaden touchpoints for our H5 game business," adding, "We also plan to expand our business portfolio through cooperation with domestic app market operators."
