Baemin, Baskin Robbins join forces to boost online business cooperation

Baemin and Baskin Robbins are teaming up to expand online sales. Baemin operator Woowa Brothers said on Sunday it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with BR Korea to strengthen digital business competitiveness. The companies plan to cooperate on Baemin Club member benefits, Baemin-exclusive new product launches, joint promotional marketing campaigns and social contribution projects. They also plan limited-edition reusable container goods and participation in Baskin Robbins’ consumer contest.

Toss to roll out Facepay at Nonghyup Mokuchon dining brands

Viva Republica, the operator of Toss, will work with Nonghyup Mokuchon’s dining business unit to roll out its facial payment service, Facepay, at restaurant franchise stores in phases. Toss said on Thursday it signed a strategic business agreement and will install Toss Front at Mokuchon dining brands. The rollout will cover Toreore, Wellbeing Maeul, Misowadon and the new M Cafe brand. The companies also plan joint payment promotions and marketing.

Naver Pay to improve small merchant payment environment with Npay Connect

Naver Pay will work with the Small Business Hope Foundation to improve digital payment infrastructure at small merchants’ stores. Naver Pay said it signed a business agreement on July 1 at the foundation in Seoul to promote digital transformation and greater use of digital tools by small merchants. The partners plan cooperation projects to improve payment environments and operational efficiency, centered on the offline integrated terminal Npay Connect.
