RideFlux, a company specialising in autonomous driving AI software, said on Tuesday it signed a business agreement (MOU) to advance KGM SDV and software with KG Mobility (KGM), Hyundai Mobis, the Korea Automobile & Mobility Association, the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology, the Korea Automobile Testing and Research Institute, and the Korea Intelligent Automotive Parts Promotion Institute.

The agreement was 추진됐다 as part of activities under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy-led M.AX Alliance.

Under the agreement, KGM will pursue installing Hyundai Mobis’ SDV platform and RideFlux’s AI-based autonomous driving solution in its vehicles. Hyundai Mobis will provide the SDV platform to KGM and support technical consulting for smooth operation. RideFlux will provide the AI-based autonomous driving solution and work to apply and optimise it for vehicles.

RideFlux said the agreement expands its supply scope for "AI driver software" from a mobility services-focused business structure, including robotaxis, robotrucks and autonomous buses, to the mass-produced passenger car market for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

RideFlux CEO Park Joong-hee (박중희) said, "We have built a three-party value chain with KGM, an automaker, and Hyundai Mobis, a global parts company, laying the groundwork to enter the mass-produced passenger car B2B market." He added, "Based on proven physical AI technology, we will successfully realise everything from Level 2+ installation in mass-produced cars to commercialisation of fully unmanned Level 4 and lead the global market."
