Korea\'s BMCC reauthorises 12 home shopping operators for seven years

Twelve home shopping operators, including Lotte Home Shopping and Home & Shopping, received reauthorisation with a validity period of seven years, the Broadcasting Media Communications Commission said on Tuesday. All 12 firms scored at least 650 points out of 1,000 and met minimum requirements in fail categories. The commission revised conditions, including contract disclosure for supplier fees and a ban on unfair pass-through of transmission fee hikes, and set additional requirements for specific operators.
