KakaoGames steps up launch build-up for Joseon fantasy MMORPG World of Dokkaebi

KakaoGames is stepping up preparations to launch World of Dokkaebi, a new Joseon fantasy mobile MMORPG being developed by Supercat. The company released in-game images on June 8 showing three backgrounds: Tavaro, Gwisusa and Gwitaek. It said the game combines 2D dot characters with 3D backgrounds and focuses on flexible progression, skill combinations and guild-based cooperation. A focus group test gave positive feedback. KakaoGames targets a third-quarter release.

Microsoft developing Copilot design system

Microsoft is building a \"Copilot design system\" to help its Copilot AI assistant integrate effectively into work processes. Neowin reported the company aims to blend Copilot so naturally that users may not notice it, rather than removing it. The project is led by John Friedman, newly appointed principal design lead for Microsoft 365. Microsoft is focusing on integrating Copilot across services, including understanding user intent and joining workflows automatically.

Apple WWDC26 opens June 8; three more AI features in iOS 27

Apple has announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, WWDC26, will open on June 8. The event is expected to highlight expanded artificial intelligence features centered on iPhone operating system iOS 27. Reported additions include AI-generated lock screen and home screen wallpapers, stronger writing assistance with more advanced grammar checks, and Shortcuts that can be created through natural-language instructions. Apple will also unveil updates for iPadOS, watchOS, macOS, tvOS and visionOS.
