Baemin’s closeout discount service increased evening orders at participating stores and has a repurchase rate above 10 percent, the company said on Thursday. Baemin said it will run a promotion to mark Resource Circulation Day on Sept. 6. The service offers discounted items nearing their consumption deadline in cooperation with bakery brands such as Paris Baguette and Tous Les Jours, with customers able to buy at least 20 percent off after 8 p.m.
