Woowa Brothers, operator of Baedal Minjok, said on Tuesday it will renew its subscription membership Baemin Club and launch a new product that accrues points on payments. The new product adds points accrual by payment amount to existing benefits such as free delivery and unlimited 10 percent discounts at Baemin B마트.
Existing Baemin Club subscribers can continue using the service without additional procedures and without changes to their benefits. New subscriptions to the current Baemin Club plan are available until Sept. 30, and from Oct. 1 subscriptions will be available only for the newly launched product. The company said details such as the exact accrual rate will be confirmed and disclosed later.
Baemin Club launched in September 2024. It has since expanded partnership benefits by rolling out products tied to OTT services such as TVING and YouTube Premium. Users can receive benefits exceeding the subscription fee even if they order only 1 to 2 times a month. Baemin said Baemin Club subscribers are receiving average monthly benefits of 18,000 won through free delivery. They also receive an additional 10,000 won discount when using grocery services such as B마트 and an additional 6,000 won discount when using coupons from partners, including franchise brands.
A Baemin official said the company plans to expand Baemin Club's product lineup and partnership programs through active partnerships. The official said it will develop the service into a subscription offering that customers seek out more often in their daily lives.
