TTA expands mobile technology cooperation with Vietnam\'s Viettel to support exports by Korean firms

The Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) said it is expanding cooperation on next-generation mobile technology and business with Vietnam\'s mobile operator Viettel. TTA said it held a B5G and 6G standards technology business exchange event and workshop with Viettel Group in Hanoi over two days from Aug. 4. The event aimed to help South Korean firms with mobile equipment and solutions build business networks and pursue entry into Vietnam.

Krafton will launch its first collaboration for Battlegrounds Mobile with fashion and beauty store Musinsa and apparel brand 999Humanity, it said on Sunday. Under the title \"PUBGM x MUSINSA First Drop! 999Humanity\", the promotion links in-game items and real-world clothing sold through Musinsa’s online store and at two Seongsu locations in Seoul. Krafton also announced events offering Musinsa Money point vouchers and an in-game roulette reward system.

Backpack joins 24-hour stock market race with tokenised shares

Crypto exchange Backpack has begun 24-hour trading in tokenised products tied to some U.S. stocks, allowing overseas investors to trade shares such as SpaceX, Micron and SanDisk without time limits. Backpack said the service provides direct ownership of the underlying securities rather than synthetic exposure, with instant settlement and funding via fiat currency or stablecoins. It also offers Solana-based tokenised versions usable in DeFi.
