Krafton's PUBG Mobile said on Thursday it will collaborate with the globally popular fighting game The King of Fighters. The collaboration runs until March 10.
Players can access new character sets inspired by Mai Shiranui, Nakoruru and Iori Yagami.
Mai Shiranui's signature style and a dedicated gun skin have been implemented. The line-up also includes a Nakoruru set that recreates traditional Ainu clothing and an Iori Yagami outfit featuring contrasting red and black, applying looks that reflect each character's personality.
Dedicated emotes reflecting the original action and direction will also be added. Players can enjoy fighting game-style effects during combat through emotes that capture character movements such as Wave Combo and Ukiane. Nakoruru's hawk Mamahaha appears as a companion and joins the battle journey.
An Arcade VS glider and a The King of Fighters parachute will also be added, enabling distinctive drops. A Flame Dance fan frying pan, which can be upgraded in 3 stages, adds to the fun of close-range combat.
Items with a retro feel, such as an Arcade KO helmet and backpack, will also be introduced. Content to decorate spaces, including Chibi Iori Yagami, will also be provided.
A prize pass will also be offered to mark the collaboration. Players can complete in-game missions to earn points and receive limited rewards in stages, including character sets and emotes.
