Tesla FSD switches to subscription from Aug. 10; one-off 9.04 million won to 150,000 won a month
Tesla Korea will change how it sells its supervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) option from a one-off payment to a monthly subscription from Aug. 10. The current one-time price of 9,043,000 won including VAT will be replaced by a 150,000 won-a-month plan, applied to all models. Enhanced Autopilot will no longer be available for new purchase on U.S.-built vehicles after Aug. 10, while China-built vehicles will keep the option at 4,522,000 won including VAT.

KT recruits 10th cohort for AIVLE School youth digital talent programme
KT said on Monday it will recruit trainees for the 10th cohort of its KT AIVLE School digital talent programme until Aug. 10. Run with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the programme provides practical training based on AI and cloud technologies. It offers tracks for AI developers and digital transformation consultants. Trainees start in late September for about six months. Eligible applicants are unemployed people aged 34 and under who have completed at least six semesters at a four-year university.

MSIT seeks participants for 2026 Autonomous Driving AI Challenge
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT is recruiting participants from July 1 to 31 for the 2026 Autonomous Driving AI Challenge, now in its third year. The contest provides training data built under a joint autonomous driving technology project involving multiple ministries and the National Police Agency, and evaluates the performance and suitability of participants\' AI algorithms. The main contest runs Aug. 10 to Sept. 23, with teams of 3 to 4 allowed up to five submissions.
