KT introduces AICC technology in Indonesia, seeks Southeast Asia business opportunities

KT said on Thursday it introduced AI-based customer service centre technology and operating know-how to an Indonesian Contact Center Association delegation visiting South Korea for benchmarking. About 80 officials from Indonesian government and public bodies, financial institutions and companies attended an event at KT\'s Seoul Central Customer Center. KT showcased AI contact centre services, including AI agent tools and monitoring. It said it would expand business cooperation opportunities in Southeast Asia.

KT begins rebuild of Woori Bank AI chatbot, consultation bot

KT said on Aug. 31 it has been selected as the contractor for Woori Bank’s project to rebuild its AI chatbot and consultation bot and has begun system development. The project aims to upgrade infrastructure for Woori Bank’s non-face-to-face customer consultation channels and to expand consultation scope and task processing by linking AI Banker and AI agents. KT will apply its Agent Connector solution to connect channels and carry over consultation context.

LG Uplus to run first solo booth at World IT Show, share voice AI vision

LG Uplus said on Monday it will operate a standalone exhibition booth at the World IT Show and present future artificial intelligence services. The company will showcase voice AI under the theme \"Humanizing Every Connection\", with areas covering AI agents, AI contact centres and AI infrastructure. It will introduce ixi-O Pro, an evolved model of its ixi-O AI agent, and present interactive media art created with Universal Everything. It will also display AI security and enterprise solutions.
