Each company plans to build its presence on the global stage through a differentiated AI strategy.
According to industry officials on Monday, SK Telecom will share its "full-stack AI" strategy with global telecom officials under the theme, "SKT's AI that creates infinite possibilities." It will introduce its accumulated experience in operating AI data centres, related solutions and AI-based network technologies, including efforts to attract an Ulsan AI data centre and build the high-performance GPU cluster "Haein."
Visitors will see the "K-Sovereign GPUaaS (GPU as a Service)" solution that integrates offerings including the intelligent platform "AI DC Infra Manager" that monitors and manages integrated data across an AI data centre. It also includes the high-performance, high-efficiency cloud platform "Petasus AI Cloud," the GPU resource optimisation solution "AI Cloud Manager" and the real-time monitoring system "GAIA."
SKT will also unveil results from the government's next-generation AI model project. It will demonstrate at the venue the ultra-large AI model "A.X K1" with 519 billion parameters, which advanced to the second-stage evaluation of the Ministry of Science and ICT's "homegrown AI foundation model" project.
It will also display AI services that will serve as the brain, senses and eyes of physical AI. These include a digital twin platform that supports physical AI decision-making and planning, a robot training platform that helps physical AI learn the senses it needs, and the vision solution "SynapsEgo" that analyses first-person on-site video at high performance.
