OpenAI, Anthropic step up hiring from Salesforce as enterprise software talent war intensifies

OpenAI and Anthropic are hiring key talent from the enterprise software industry, including alumni of Salesforce, as AI competition spreads from products to the labour market. OpenAI has recruited executives and staff focused on enterprise sales and customer support, and is also hiring Palantir’s forward-deployed engineers. LG CNS expands OpenAI partnership to target education AX market

LG CNS said on April 27 it has expanded its cooperation with OpenAI by becoming a reseller partner for ChatGPT Edu, following its reseller agreement for ChatGPT Enterprise, as it targets the education AX market. ChatGPT Edu is a ChatGPT service for educational institutions that supports tasks such as creating lecture materials, organizing research materials and reports, and providing customized tutoring. The company said it offers an enterprise-grade security environment.

SpaceX has presented investors with a large-scale growth plan combining enterprise artificial intelligence, satellites and space infrastructure, with a possible valuation of $1.8 trillion being discussed. In listing-related documents, SpaceX put its total addressable market at $28.5 trillion, including $22.7 trillion for enterprise AI. The plan hinges on data and computing businesses, with Starship development and governance risks, including Elon Musk’s past loans, cited as key variables.
